Most of us make a resolution to get fit in the new year, however not many people are specific enough with their goals to make them achievable. Even worse, we get into the same boring routines that lead to many of us quitting before we see any real results. Therefore, it is important to find a form of exercise that you enjoy, so that you will be able to maintain your workouts, and even look forward to them as well.
Our dance fitness classes are fun and enjoyable workouts that run every week and are great to attend with friends! Furthermore, the HIIT training structure is ideal for weight loss and stamina as it alternates between high intensity and low intensity moves that allow you to burn more calories.
We offer two main fitness classes; FitSteps & Zumba Fitness.
Zumba Fitness TM
Zumba Fitness is a latin-inspired dance fitness programme conceived by Salsa and Fitness Instructor Alberto ‘Beto’ Perez. The story goes that Beto arrived at a fitness class and realised he had forgotten his music. He looked in his bag and found Salsa music instead, and the rest is history, and Zumba Fitness was born. Zumba Fitness uses dances from Merengue, Salsa, Reggaeton (Latin hip hop) and Cumbia (Colombian Dance) as well as other styles.

FitSteps was created by former Strictly Come Dancing professionals Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe along with Olympic swimmer Mark Foster. It mixes the graceful steps of Ballroom with the up-tempo rhythms of Latin-American to create the perfect workout that can burn up to 700 calories in one class!

All our fitness classes are drop in classes, however new students are advised to arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of the class to complete our Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR Q).
